Abstract
Two hundreds sixty seven cases of hysteroscopic and resectoscopic operation were performed at Kwang-Hye General Hospital from April 1995 to December 2000. The common indications were abnormal uterine bleeding, endomatrial polyp, ashermann's
syndrome,
submucosal myoma and IUD, foreign body remove, others. The age of the patients ranged from 21 to 56 years and the mean age was 37.6 years and mean parity of the patients was 1.66 and mean duration of postoperative hospitalization was 1.77 days.
The
operation time was varied
from 5 minutes to 52 minutes, mean time of Endometrial biopsy ; 7 minutes, polypectomy ; 18 minutes, adhesiolysis ; 43 minutes, submucosal myomectomy ; 38 minutes, foreign body remove ; 29 minutes. In our conclusion, now hysteroscopic surgery is
done
with various kinds of indication in whole reproductive age. It is some simple and safe technique and so we can do more accurate diagnosis and effective therapy.
